1. About Edobb

Edobb is a technology-driven global live mentoring marketplace that connects learners ("Seekers") with mentors, educators, trainers, professionals and other skilled experts ("Mentors"). The Platform enables Seekers to discover suitable Mentors based on their requirements and enables Mentors to create or offer courses, define their expertise and availability, set applicable hourly pricing and conduct live individual or group mentoring sessions. Edobb may also provide AI-enabled tools for course creation, learning resources, personalised learning assistance, practice, assessments, recommendations and other educational support. Edobb primarily acts as a technology platform and marketplace connecting Seekers and Mentors and, unless expressly stated otherwise, does not itself provide the individual mentoring service delivered by a Mentor.

2. Age Eligibility

Edobb is strictly available only to persons who are 18 years of age or older. Persons below 18 years of age are not permitted to register, create an account, book a Mentor, purchase or access a course, participate in live mentoring sessions, use Edobb's AI-enabled learning tools or otherwise use the Platform. By registering or using Edobb, you expressly confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all information provided by you is accurate. If Edobb discovers or reasonably believes that an account is being used by a person below 18 years of age, Edobb may suspend, restrict or terminate the account and take any other action permitted under applicable law. Edobb does not provide Seeker/Learner access to persons below 18 years through parental or guardian consent.

3. Registration and Account

To use certain Edobb services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information and to keep such information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and must not share your account with another person, impersonate another individual or create an account for fraudulent, misleading or unlawful purposes. You must immediately inform Edobb if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account.

4. Seeker Responsibilities

As a Seeker, you are responsible for selecting Mentors and courses appropriate to your requirements, reviewing available Mentor and service information before booking, checking the applicable pricing and duration, providing accurate information required for the service, attending booked sessions on time, maintaining suitable internet and device connectivity, treating Mentors and other users respectfully and using Edobb only for lawful and legitimate learning and mentoring purposes.

5. Mentor Discovery and Selection

Edobb provides technology that may help Seekers discover Mentors based on expertise, subjects, courses, availability, hourly pricing, profile information, experience, ratings, reviews and other information displayed on the Platform. The final decision to select a Mentor rests with the Seeker. Mentor profiles and other information may be provided or maintained by the Mentors themselves. Although Edobb may conduct verification or other checks where applicable, Edobb does not guarantee that every statement, qualification, experience claim or other information provided by a Mentor is complete, accurate or suitable for a particular Seeker's requirements.

6. Courses and Mentoring Services

Mentors may create and offer courses, learning programmes and mentoring services through Edobb. The content, structure, methodology, learning materials, duration, session format, availability, pricing and teaching approach may vary between Mentors. Seekers are responsible for reviewing the relevant information before making a booking or payment and selecting the service that best matches their requirements.

7. Live Mentoring

Edobb facilitates live individual and group mentoring sessions between Seekers and Mentors. Depending on the service selected, mentoring may cover academic learning, competitive examinations, professional and technical skills, career guidance, languages, communication, creative skills, personal development or other lawful learning and mentoring activities offered through the Platform. The scope and nature of each session will depend on the service selected and the Mentor's offering.

8. Hourly Pricing and Payments

Edobb primarily operates on a pay-per-hour live mentoring model. The applicable hourly price will be displayed before the Seeker confirms a booking. The final amount payable may include applicable mentoring charges, platform or service charges, taxes, discounts or other charges disclosed before payment. Seekers must carefully review the final payable amount before confirming a transaction. Payments must be made through payment methods authorised or provided by Edobb. Edobb may use third-party payment service providers, and transactions may also be subject to their applicable terms and policies.

9. Booking and Confirmation

A mentoring session is considered confirmed only after successful completion of the applicable booking and payment process. Seekers are responsible for selecting the correct Mentor, course or service, date, time, duration, individual or group session and other booking details. Once a booking is confirmed, the applicable cancellation and refund provisions will apply.

10. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling and refund requests will be governed by the applicable Edobb Cancellation and Refund Policy and the terms displayed at the time of booking. Where a Mentor cancels a confirmed session, fails to conduct a scheduled session or where a verified Platform-related issue prevents delivery, Edobb may, subject to the applicable policy, facilitate rescheduling, provide Platform credit or process an eligible refund. Where a Seeker fails to attend a booked session, the treatment of the payment will depend on the applicable cancellation policy. No refund should be assumed unless the transaction qualifies under the applicable refund terms.

11. Live Session Conduct

Seekers must maintain appropriate and respectful conduct during all mentoring sessions. Harassment, threats, abuse, discrimination, deliberate disruption, unauthorised sharing of session access, attempts to obtain confidential information, fraudulent conduct or other inappropriate or unlawful behaviour is prohibited. Seekers must not record, reproduce or commercially distribute live sessions or Mentor content without the necessary permission or legal right. Edobb may take appropriate action where such conduct is reported or detected.

12. AI-Enabled Features

Edobb may provide AI-enabled features for course creation, learning-content generation, learning assistance, practice, assessment, explanations, recommendations, performance analysis and other educational purposes. AI-generated information or content may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. Seekers should independently verify important information and must not rely on AI-generated information as a substitute for qualified professional, medical, legal, financial or other regulated advice where such advice is required. Edobb does not guarantee that AI-generated information will always be accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose.

13. Learning Outcomes

Edobb provides access to Mentors and learning technology but does not guarantee any particular educational, examination, employment, professional, financial or other outcome. Learning results may depend on the Seeker's participation, preparation, effort, Mentor interaction, subject complexity, external circumstances and other factors outside Edobb's control.

14. Intellectual Property

Edobb owns or has the necessary rights in its Platform, software, technology, trademarks, branding, designs and proprietary materials. Mentors may retain ownership of their original courses, notes, presentations, videos, images, assessments and other content, subject to the rights necessary for Edobb to operate the Platform. Seekers receive only the applicable right to access and use authorised learning materials for personal learning purposes. Unless expressly authorised, Seekers must not copy, reproduce, distribute, commercially resell, publish, upload elsewhere, commercially exploit or otherwise misuse Edobb's or a Mentor's proprietary content.

15. Seeker-Uploaded Content

Seekers may be permitted to upload questions, assignments, documents, images, feedback or other learning-related material. By uploading such material, the Seeker confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions to do so and that the material does not unlawfully infringe the rights of another person. Seekers must not upload unlawful, confidential third-party, malicious, misleading or infringing material. Edobb may process uploaded material to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the requested Platform services, subject to its Privacy Policy and applicable law.

16. Reviews and Ratings

Where ratings and reviews are enabled, Seekers must provide genuine and fair feedback based on their actual experience. False reviews, manipulated ratings, reviews submitted on behalf of another person, threats intended to influence a review, defamatory material or unrelated promotional content are prohibited. Edobb may moderate or remove reviews that violate its policies or applicable law.

17. Prohibited Use

Seekers must not use Edobb to violate applicable law, commit fraud, impersonate another person, harass or threaten another user, upload malicious software, interfere with Platform operations, obtain unauthorised access, collect another user's personal information without permission, circumvent payment systems, infringe intellectual-property rights, misuse AI or Platform technology, manipulate reviews, exploit another user or engage in any other unlawful or abusive activity.

18. Off-Platform Transactions

Seekers must not deliberately use information, contacts or relationships obtained through Edobb to circumvent the Platform's booking or payment process for the purpose of avoiding applicable Platform charges or safeguards. Edobb may restrict or terminate accounts involved in systematic payment circumvention, fraud or abuse.

19. Privacy and Personal Data

Edobb may collect and process personal information necessary to provide account services, Mentor discovery, bookings, payments, live mentoring, customer support, security, communications, AI-enabled features and other Platform services. Personal data will be handled in accordance with Edobb's Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws. Since Edobb is restricted to persons aged 18 years and above, users must not knowingly provide access to the Platform to persons below 18 years.

20. Communications

By registering or using Edobb, you may receive service-related communications concerning registration, bookings, payments, session reminders, cancellations, rescheduling, security, customer support, important policy changes and other necessary Platform matters. Promotional communications, where applicable, will be handled in accordance with applicable law and available communication preferences.

21. Safety and Reporting

Seekers should promptly report suspected fraud, harassment, inappropriate conduct, impersonation, payment abuse, intellectual-property infringement, security incidents or other serious violations through Edobb's designated support or reporting mechanism. Edobb may investigate reported matters and take appropriate action based on the circumstances and applicable law.

22. Account Suspension or Termination

Edobb may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of a violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, payment abuse, unlawful conduct, serious misconduct, infringement of intellectual-property rights, security risks, false registration information, use by a person below 18 years of age, repeated misuse of the Platform or legal requirements. Where appropriate and legally permissible, Edobb may provide an opportunity to resolve or appeal the matter.

23. Platform Availability

Edobb will make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and security of the Platform. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, internet connectivity, payment gateway issues, third-party services, cloud infrastructure, technical failures, cyber incidents, force majeure events or other circumstances beyond Edobb's reasonable control.

24. Third-Party Services

Edobb may integrate third-party services including payment gateways, cloud infrastructure, communication services, analytics services, AI services, authentication services and other technology providers. Use of such third-party services may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms and privacy policies.

25. Edobb's Role as a Marketplace

Edobb operates as a technology platform and marketplace facilitating connections between Seekers and Mentors. Unless expressly stated otherwise, individual Mentors are responsible for the mentoring services, course content and learning interactions they provide. A Mentor's use of Edobb does not by itself create an employment, partnership, agency or similar relationship between the Mentor and Edobb.

26. Mentor Availability

Mentor availability may change from time to time. Edobb does not guarantee that a particular Mentor, course, service or time slot will always remain available. Availability is subject to the Mentor's schedule and the operational conditions of the Platform.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Edobb shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from a Mentor's independent conduct, a Seeker's failure to attend a session, inaccurate information supplied by users, internet or device failures, third-party service failures, unauthorised conduct of users or learning, examination, employment or other outcomes that Edobb has not expressly guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

28. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Edobb, its directors, officers, employees and service providers against claims, losses, damages or liabilities arising from your violation of these Terms, unlawful use of Edobb, fraudulent or misleading conduct, infringement of another person's rights or misuse of the Platform.

29. Changes to These Terms

Edobb may modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, services, business model, technology, legal or regulatory requirements or security practices. Where required, material changes will be communicated through appropriate means. Continued use of Edobb after revised Terms become effective will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, subject to applicable law.

30. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory consumer-protection and other statutory rights. Edobb will endeavour to resolve complaints and disputes through its designated customer support and grievance mechanism before formal legal proceedings. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

31. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified or severed to the extent necessary, while the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

32. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with Edobb's Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Mentor Terms & Conditions, Community Guidelines, Payment Terms and other policies expressly incorporated into the Platform, constitute the applicable agreement governing a Seeker's use of Edobb.

33. Seeker Declaration

By completing registration or using Edobb, you confirm:

"I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older. I have provided accurate information and have read, understood and agreed to Edobb's Seeker/Learner Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and applicable Platform policies. I understand that Edobb is a technology-driven mentoring marketplace connecting Seekers with Mentors and that Edobb does not guarantee any particular learning or other outcome."
