Edobb Seeker Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to Edobb. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Edobb platform by all Seekers (students/users). By registering, booking, paying for, or attending sessions, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply strictly with these Terms. Edobb is an AI-powered mentorship marketplace connecting Seekers with professional mentors for structured 1-on-1 and group sessions.

2. Account Responsibility
Seekers must provide accurate and genuine information. Login credentials must be kept confidential. Any misuse, impersonation, or false information may result in suspension or termination.

3. Mandatory Verified Mentor Selection
Seekers are strongly advised to book sessions only with mentors who hold an official Verified Badge issued by Edobb. If a Seeker books and makes payment for a mentor who is not verified: Edobb shall not be responsible for quality concerns, dissatisfaction, or disputes. Refunds related to quality or expectation mismatch will not be entertained. The Seeker assumes full responsibility for such bookings.

4. Booking Commitment
All sessions must be booked through the Edobb platform only. Once a session is booked and confirmed, it is considered a binding commitment. Seekers are responsible for attending sessions on time.

5. Cancellation Policy


   5.1. General Cancellation
If a Seeker cancels a booked session: 50% of the booking fee will be charged as a non-refundable processing fee. Applicable taxes will be charged additionally on the processing amount. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded after deduction.    5.2. Same Mentor & Same Topic Restriction
If sessions are booked for the same mentor and the same topic, cancellation or refund is strictly not allowed once confirmed. No exceptions will be made in such cases.

6. Change of Mentor Policy
If a Seeker requests to change the mentor after booking: A processing fee of 25% of the booking fee will be charged. Applicable taxes will be added to the processing fee. If the newly selected mentor charges a higher fee, the Seeker must pay the difference before confirmation. If the new mentor’s fee is lower, the difference may be adjusted as per Edobb policy Mentor change requests are subject to availability and approval.

7. No-Show Policy
If a Seeker fails to attend a scheduled session: No refund will be provided. The session will be marked as completed. Repeated no-shows may lead to account restrictions.

8. Payments & Financial Integrity
All payments must be made exclusively through Edobb’s authorized system. Direct payment to mentors outside the platform is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to bypass the platform payment system may result in permanent account termination without refund.

9. Session Recording & Access
AAll live sessions conducted on Edobb are automatically recorded. Recordings will be available in the Seeker’s profile login for revision and learning continuity. Recordings cannot be downloaded, copied, shared, or distributed externally. Unauthorized recording or redistribution may result in legal action.

10. Conduct & Discipline
Seekers must: Maintain respectful behavior. Avoid abusive language or harassment. Not disrupt sessions intentionally. Not promote external platforms during sessions. Violation may result in immediate removal and account suspension.

11. Technical Responsibility
Seekers are responsible for: Stable internet connection. Proper functioning device (audio/video). Joining sessions from a suitable environment. Edobb is not liable for disruptions caused by Seeker-side technical issues.

12. Refund Limitations
Refunds will not be granted for: Personal schedule conflicts. Internet issues from Seeker side. Change of mind. Dissatisfaction without valid academic reason. Same mentor & same topic confirmed bookings. All refund decisions are final and subject to Edobb’s review.

13. Intellectual Property Protection
All teaching materials, explanations, content, and recorded sessions are protected intellectual property. Seekers must not: Reproduce or resell content. Share paid materials with non-registered users. Use content for commercial purposes. Legal action may be initiated for violations.

14. Suspension & Termination

Edobb reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts for: Policy violations Payment manipulation Off-platform communication attempts Repeated misconduct Intellectual property misuse All final rights remain with Edobb Mentorhub Private Limited.

15. Jurisdiction

All disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Kollam, Kerala, India.

16. Acceptance of Terms
By registering and using Edobb, the Seeker confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Failure to comply may result in suspension, financial penalty, or legal action where applicable.
